  • Cuisine: American

Description

Festive and healthy, this Christmas tree fruit platter is very easy to make and only requires five ingredients!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 57 kiwis, peeled and sliced
  • 812 raspberries, rinsed and halved lengthwise
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • pretzel sticks
  • pineapple (optional: for star on top of tree)

Instructions

1. Prepare fruit. Peel and slice kiwi into thin circles. Rinse raspberries and cut each one in half lengthwise.

2. If using, cut a small star out of the pineapple.

3. Assemble the tree onto the tray. Start with one slice of kiwi for the top of the tree, then two for the second layer, and so on. Increase by one slice per row until the tree is as full as you like it to be.

4. Place raspberries on top of the kiwi tree as ornaments. Put pineapple star at the top of the tree.

5. Place pretzels side by side on the bottom center of the tree to act as the tree trunk.

6. Put marshmallows at the bottom of tree in a horizontal layer to act as snow. Optionally, place a few marshmallows around the tree to look like snow falling.

7. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!

Notes

  • A dark platter is recommended so that the snow can be easily seen.
  • Recommended Substitutions:
No raspberries? Chopped strawberries or any other berry can be used instead.
No pretzels? Kit Kat bars or any chocolate bar pieces will work.
    No marshmallows? White chocolate chips.
